Anonymous testing is offered:
Tuesday 8:30am – 4:40 and Wednesday 8:30am – 4:40
and in the morning on Thursdays 8:30-12:30
It is in partnership with the VON.
What does the AIDS Coalition of Cape Breton (ACCB) do?
Delivers presentations on HIV/AIDS, homophobia, and harm reduction. Just phone the office to arrange a presentation.
Offers limited financial help to People Living with HIV/AIDS (PHA’s) through the Health Fund. All proceeds from fundraising events and any donations received go to this Health Fund.
Has an office that contains a collection of books, articles, videos for loan and pamphlets for free.
Has condoms and lubricant (lube) available for free.
Has a lounge where people can go for a coffee and a chat.
Drop-in hours are 10am until noon and 2 pm to 4 :30 pm Monday to Friday.
Provides treatment information and emotional support for People Living with HIV/AIDS, their families and friends.
